Documents that legally require a Digital Signature Certificate or another execution method not supported by eSign should use the required method.
Key Restrictions & Not Recommended Use Cases
Electronic signatures through eSign are not recommended for documents that require an execution method not supported by the platform, including but not limited to:
- Filings with government portals (e.g., MCA, ROC)
- Documents requiring Digital Signature Certificates
- Certain regulated or statutory instruments
- Documents where physical execution is legally mandated
